Here's a business expert and coach who steers people to profitable performance-driven communications
For almost two decades, Cyndi Maxey has owned Maxey Communications, Inc., a consulting firm specializing business communications. She works with numerous senior executives helping them reach peak performance in making presentations, managing and leading teams, communicating effectively and building customer loyalty.
Cyndi has consulted, coached and spoken in 38 states and Canada. Her impressive client list includes Bank One, Calvin Klein, Hilton Hotels, Eli Lilly, Whirlpool, the Federal Reserve, American Bar Association, American Medical Association, Kimberly Clark, Gillette, Nestle Foods, Dale Carnegie Chicago, Professional Women in Healthcare and National Association of Realtors, to name a few.

Cyndi is also the coauthor of several popular business books. Most recently, she collaborated with colleague Kevin O'Connor on Present Like a Pro: The Field Guild to Mastering the Art of Business, Professional and Public Speaking. The manual offers practical tips on everyday speaking challenges. In 2003, she helped author It's Your Move: Dealing Yourself the Best Cards in Life and Work which is intended to drive personal initiative during periods of change. The other two books to which she contributed her written insights are Training from the Heart, a valuable resource in helping to inspire learners, and The Communication Coach, a compilation of business communication tips from a number of professionals.
Having appeared in a few dozen professional theatrical productions and voiced national commercials, Cindy brings a strong, and broad, performance background to all her programs. She is a past president of National Speakers Association, Illinois, and has served on the boards of the Chicago Chapter, American Society of Training & Development and the Chicago Chapter, National Association of Women Business Owners. Cyndi also graduated with honors and a Masters degree in Communication Studies from Northwestern University.
Cyndi is not only an outstanding speaker, but she's an effective facilitator for panel discussions or roundtables. She is willing and able to customize programs or address topics requested by the client.
